Política de entrega

1. Actual destinations and origin
Only destinations actually configured for purchase may be served. UAE incorporation does not prove every item ships from Dubai or establish duties or delivery times. Shipment origin, covered countries and logistics partners must be confirmed before sales open. The current preview checkout does not reserve a delivery.
2. Before payment
Provide the destination, delivery method, shipping charge, supplements, agreed date/interval and final total before a binding order. If a charge cannot reasonably be calculated, explain the method and possibility of additional cost. Italia Buy’s thresholds, €9.99 fee and delivery promises do not apply. Unconfigured delivery is not free delivery or evidence of an all-inclusive total.
3. Preparation and availability
Preparation includes checking the ordered variant, stock and address. Availability is rechecked before purchase, not guaranteed by an old basket. Preorders, personalised items and special deadlines must be clearly identified and agreed. General preparation intervals have not been confirmed: neither 24/48 hours nor 7–11 days is promised by generic website wording.
4. Delivery deadlines and EU remedies
The agreed deadline distinguishes preparation from transport. For EU consumers, absent another agreement, deliver without undue delay and within 30 days of contract formation. If late, the customer may set an appropriate additional period and terminate when that expires. Immediate termination applies in statutory circumstances, including refusal to deliver or an essential deadline communicated before contracting. Sums due after termination are returned without undue delay.
5. Tracking and notifications
Once a parcel is actually handed to a carrier, tracking can be supplied through order information or available support. Creating a label does not establish dispatch and carrier updates may lag. Automatic email notifications require an active sending channel; Giovenza email activation remains outstanding. Tracking is informational, not conclusive proof against a disputed delivery.
6. Import duties and taxes
Tax/customs handling depends on origin, destination, value and the import model. Before selling, clarify whether VAT/duties are included and who handles import formalities. Unknown additional charges require prior disclosure of their possibility and calculation method. The seller cannot transfer undisclosed charges contrary to law. EU/UAE invoices and tax details must meet the actual applicable rules.
7. Incorrect address or missed delivery
Check details before ordering and notify corrections promptly. Changes in transit depend on carrier capability. Absence, holding or return to sender is considered individually; actual lawful costs must be justified and do not automatically forfeit the whole price. Non-delivery by itself is not an unequivocal withdrawal notice and does not remove seller duties.
8. Lost or damaged parcels
Photograph damage and notify the carrier where possible; this assists investigation but is not an absolute legal-rights condition. Contact info@giovenza.com with the order and issue. The seller remains responsible for resolving the customer’s claim and does not require the customer to obtain reimbursement from the carrier independently. EU risk stays with the seller until physical possession, subject to the statutory independently-chosen-carrier exception.
9. Split orders and returns
Any split delivery should be communicated without unagreed extra charges. EU withdrawal deadlines for several goods ordered together account for the last delivery. Use Returns for return instructions; the registered office is not automatically the return warehouse. Logistics delays and charges cannot remove withdrawal, refund or conformity rights.
Legal sources and checks before sales
Sources reviewed: EU Directives 2011/83, 2019/771, 2023/2673 and 2024/825; GDPR; UAE Federal Law 15/2020, Cabinet Resolution 66/2023, Decree-Law 14/2023 and PDPL 45/2021. National implementing rules and later amendments prevail. UAE consumer information and invoices require Arabic; Italian/English pages do not fulfil that requirement. Return address, tax/customs model, transfer safeguards, required EU representation and the harmonised legal-guarantee notice applicable from September 2026 remain to be checked. Sales/payments remain disabled until these requirements are completed.
